About the Facility
The facility is approximately 47000 sq. ft. It will house 6 standard indoor tennis courts (3 will include blended lines for 10 and under tennis, pop tennis and pickle ball) 2 outdoor platform tennis courts, and 2-4 table tennis stations.
Features will include high performance court surface, state of the art lighting, a “welcoming” reception area, functional locker-rooms, and a community classroom.
The mezzanine will provide “open concept” spectator viewing, a snack service area, and an indoor fireplace with conversational seating.
The facility will meet all ADA requirements (including an elevator) and apply “green” initiative guidelines.
SERVE will be located within Roosevelt Park, the City of Oconomowoc’s largest park and home to Imagination Station, the Lake Country Bike Trail Head, and 5 O’s Baseball.
- A 50-year ground lease has been approved by the city council, between the nonprofit SERVE entity and the City of Oconomowoc. This is truly a unique public/non-profit partnership.
- The Oconomowoc Parks, Recreation and Forestry department will have reciprocal recreational programing opportunities
